New Aviation Company launches in Wau

A new aviation company identified as Golden Wings Aviation on Sunday launched flights to Wau, Western Bahr El Ghazal State amidst lobbies that the national capital city would be moved to the area.
 
Managing Director Obach William Olawo told the press that the company would have four flights schedule per week and that they would adjust depending on the demand.
 
He added that they would charge 600 South Sudanese Pounds per trip to Wau at the initial stage to benefit ordinary citizens.
 
Mr William foresaw the nature aviation regulations in South Sudan as possible challenge, wondering whether they would favour the business.
 
The Director said the aviation offers passengers and cargo services with future arrangement of covering Malakal, Palouch and other areas.
 
Western Bahr El Ghazal Governor Rizik Zachariah Hassan welcomed the flights launched to Wau, hailing investors for diverting their minds away from concentrating in Juba and following government directives.
 
He believes the flights to Wau open investment opportunities to the State.
