Yei Deputy Mayor said a garbage truck that had an accident in April is still in police custody pending compensation for 24 injured soldiers.
Silvano Ali Sanguson told Easter Radio on Wednesday that the release of the truck would take long because of need for medical screening report before compensation.
The Deputy Mayor explained that the driver would remain under police custody until compensation is done because soldiers involved in the accident casts him with death threats.
He urged the injured soldiers to bring medical reports for compensation to speed up process of releasing the driver and vehicle from police custody.
Mr Ali revealed that they were using five trucks to carry garbage to pits.
He commended Minyori quarter council chiefs for promising new garbage site.
