The President of the Republic on Saturday laid a foundation stone for construction of a Central Bank branch in Rumbek town of Lakes State.
Salva Kiir Mayardit applauded Central Bank Governor Kornelio Koryom for initiating the branch, encouraging citizens to promote generosity, Good News Radio reported.
Kornelio Koryom said the branch would be a big house for national currency storage to benefit citizens in Lakes State.
The project is expected to cost 22.2 US Dollars and would be ready by 2016.
