Juba Catholic Archdiocesan Auxiliary Bishop said citizens in the country are broken-hearted in terrible conditions in UN camps in Juba, Malakal, Bentiu and other parts of the country because political leaders continuous preaching to violence and war.
Bishop Santo Loku Pio in his homily at St Theresa Cathedral in Juba on Sunday said those politicians preaching war are not happy when people enjoy peace, but enjoy when citizens suffer.
The Bishop urged South Sudanese not to rely on rumours because some individuals are scaring citizens in the country.
He told the congregation that the prophet was telling political leaders to be humble enough and try to look into the situation as citizens expect new reality.
Bishop Loku advised citizens to dedicate the country to Jesus Christ during this third independence anniversary.
The Auxiliary Bishop was reacting to wild rumours circulated in South Sudan that conflict was breaking out in Juba.
