Seventeen local organizations are being trained on capacity building in order to remain viable when funding ends.
MS Sudan Yei organized the workshop at Resource Centre in Yei town.Don Bosco Malish, MS Sudan Program Officer, told Easter Radio this morning that the 17 partners were trained to be competent at their work as local organizations, credible and relevant.
Mr. Malish added the participants learned about project planning and management among other items.
Mr. Malish said the training lasted for three days and the partners were divided into three groups.
The first two groups attended the training last week while the third started started this morning.
Mr. Malish said the training would cover the entire year.
He added that the participants would do field work to test what they learned.
Mr. Malish explained that later they would check how they implement their activities like planning and fundraising, and put their sustainable strategies in place.
