POLICE ARRESTS TWO PEOPLE OVER MURDER

Police in Eastern Equatoria state are holding two suspects for allegedly crucifying and killing a man involved in adultery.

Eastern Equatoria governor Louis Lobong Lojore confirmed the arrests yesterday during a press briefing in Torit.

The governor did not disclose the identity of the suspects but an independent source from Ikwoto County told Emmanuel Radio that one was a high ranking military officer.

The second suspect was the husband of the woman accused of committing adultery.

The adulterous man had to pay a fine of 1300 Sudanese pounds before he was tortured and killed.

The horrible incident happens on May 25.
