Kiir Mayardit Antenatal Hospital Director General in Rumbek Lakes State revealed that the new health facility donated by the President of the Republic was ready for operation.
Paul Monde told Good News Radio on Wednesday that they are 90 percent prepared for the inauguration of the Hospital schedule to take during the Independence celebration.
He said the Hospital was well equipped, describing it as ‘the best hospital in the country’.
Dr Monde said opening of Kiir Mayardit Hospital would not affect the operation of the state hospital and that all other departments would remain in the state facility.
The Director called upon all women in the state and the country to go to the hospital
to reduce maternal mortality rate in South Sudan.
President Salva Kiir Mayardit donated the Hospital to women of Lakes State and South Sudan.
