Five men on Sunday attacked and seriously beat up a man in Faris of Heiban County for building a wooden gate to block animals from entering into his garden.
Nassir Osman explained that the men armed with sticks and knives ambushed him at home and ruthlessly beat him cutting off his right ear, wounded all his body and ran away after the family screamed for help, Voice of Peace reported.
He said the men earlier told him and his father not to build the gate.
The victim said the attackers calmed that climbing the long gate to drop to the other side was tiresome.
Mr Osman said the attackers were about to smash his small baby.
Land disputes are serious challenges in Nuba Mountains especially during the rainy season.
