The Auxiliary Bishop of the Catholic Archdiocese of Juba said killers or ‘war mongers’ representing King Herod are happy to see people suffering and dying.

Bishop Santo Loku Pio in his homily at Theresa’s Cathedral Kator on Sunday said citizens in Juba live in fear of insecurity in the country, Bakhita Radio reported.

He told the congregation that there are men and women who rejoice at the collapse of souls and flesh of their brothers and sisters in the country.

Bishop Loku said that those talking about killing others are cowards and cannot face their opponents directly.

He urged citizens across the country not to be afraid because they can become Saints like Peter and Paul.

The Auxiliary Bishop was speaking during the ordination of two seminarians to deacons at St Theresa’s Cathedral in Juba.
