Nile High Secondary School head teacher in Yei River County said Africans are suffering because they failed to understand God and that turning to him was the only way to resolve problems in the continent.
Yeko Henry told students during the inauguration of Young Christian Students or YCS members on Saturday that the suffering of Africans was due to lack of faith to God, Easter Radio reported.
He stressed the need for schools to form different religious clubs to foster spiritual development and impart discipline to students to become future leaders who would alleviate the African agony.
Yei YCS Patron Lagu Martin Kenyi called on members to be active in their services at schools and communities.
The outgoing leader Albino Lasuba and incoming Dawa Rose called on students to cooperate, work hard and live a prayerful life.
