Al-Wafa Corporation for Development, a civil society organization, has launched a program for unity of the Sudan, known as the “Sunrise Campaign for Sudan.”
Campaign manager Zahir Abdul-Kufar Suleiman told the press in Khartoum that there will be a collection of 20 million signatures from northerners to be presented to the people of southern Sudan as an assurance that the people of northern Sudan are concerned about the unity of the Sudan.Mr. Suleiman added that the programme will kick off right after the rainy season.
