Lakes State Governor on Friday morning rang the bell for 748 candidates who started South Sudan Secondary School certificate exams at Rumbek National Secondary School.
State Education Director General for Administration and Finance Benjamin Matiok commended the students for turning up for exams, advising them to work confidently without panicking and cheating, Good News Radio reported.
Lakes Education Minister Dut Makoi told the candidates to concentrate on their exams’ papers in order to bring good name to the state.
Some students who were caught up with Good News Radio journalists expressed their readiness after patience for almost two years.
Rumbek National Secondary School is the only centre hosting South Sudan Secondary School certificate examinations in Lakes State.
