Awerial County Commissioner in Lakes State said his county is ready for investors to exploit existing land and fishery resources.
Deng Tong told visiting Bakhita Radio Journalist that Awerial County has enough fertile land for agricultural investment.
He added that fishing and mining industries are also suitable areas of investment to benefit the country from Awerial.
Mr Tong said the county authorities gave land to Internally Displaced Persons or IDPs to cultivate for self-reliance.
The Commissioner said security in the county remains good because a water body is providing a buffer zone to prevent attacks.
Mr Tong added that his cooperation with neighbouring counties helps him to consolidate relative safety and security.
The Commissioner decried high influx of IDPs posing several challenges related to population explosion.
