Director-General in the national Agriculture, Forestry, Cooperatives and Rural development ministry launched modern tree seeds laboratory centre at Kagelu Forest Station in Yei River County.

Speaking during launch Timothy Thwol Onak said the facility would help the whole country produce quality seeds for quality forests, Easter Radio reported.

Kagelu Forestry Training College Principal Martin Tobel applauded the initiative, saying the facility would supply viable seeds to farmers or forest growers to conserve the environment.

It is the first modern facility in the country constructed by Indian company at the cost 458 thousand South Sudanese Pounds.
