National Disarmament, Disintegration and Rehabilitation Commission handed over a welding plot to seven ex-combatants at New Site area in Western Bahr El Ghazal.
The initiative is part of the NDDRC activities to transform the ex-combatants to join civilians live and engage in income generating activities.
William Tong WBG DDR Director said the land would enable the ex-combatants to implement the skills they learnt from trainings.
Ex-combatants head Thomas Augustine acknowledged that the place would help them practice their activities and continue the trainings interrupted at Mapel.
He said they were only taught how to weld beds and chairs but plumbing and framing doors were not taught.
