The leader of the Catholic bishops in Sudan said respect for life, truth and holiness matters in any state.
Bishop Rudolf Deng Majak of Wau is the president of the Sudan Catholic Bishops’ Conference (SCBC).Bishop Deng told SCR News that whether the south secedes or not in next year’s referendum, respect for life and truth remains a priority.
He explained that citizens would not live a happy life unless there were virtues of love, peace, truth and respect for life.
Bishop Deng called on the faithful to look on Christ in time of confusion.
Bishop Deng said that the CPA did not emphasise the attractiveness of the unity.
