Yei Catholic Diocese on Sunday celebrated the feast of the Corpus Christi (the body and blood of Christ) characterized with a procession of thousands of Christians from the Freedom squire to the Christ the King Cathedral
Bishop Erkulano Lodu Tombe in his Homily at said that the feast of the Body and Blood was instituted 700 years ago to increase the faith of believers on Jesus presence in the Blessed Sacrament.
He said it was a matter of believing that Jesus is truly present in the Blessed Sacrament
The Bishop noted that quarrels and the doubts about the presence of Jesus Christ in the Corpus Christi were cleared by sharing of the meal in the last supper
