A team of inspectors from GoSS ministry of Education arrived yesterday in Yei to assess school standards in town.
The education coordinator for Yei Catholic diocese, Fr. Alex Lodiong, told Easter Radio that the six inspectors from Jonglei, and Eastern, Western and Central Equatoria states were visiting schools across South Sudan to compare the standards teaching.Fr. Lodiong added the team was checking teachers quality, equipment and school environment.
Fr. Lodiong said he was grateful and impressed by the inspections.
He added that government should ensure the quality of education in the region.
Fr. Lodiong thanked the ministry for organizing the inspection team.
