SPLM-N called on the international NGOs to supply people of Nuba Mountains and Blue Nile with humanitarian assistance.
Nuba Mountains Media Secretary Chatigo Amoja Delman on Tuesday called on the international community to urgently send aid to save the internally displaced persons from starving, Voice of Peace reported.
He accused the Sudanese Armed Forces or SAF of carrying out aerial attacks using long range missiles, MIG jet fighters and antonov to destroy civilian areas.
The Secretary lamented the war plane dropped more than 2,153 bombs between May 18 and June 13 killing ten civilians including women and children and injuring 41 others in the area.
He added that SAF warplanes destroyed three churches, three mosques, four health centres, eight schools, seven boreholes and three water tanks in Nuba Mountains.
Mr Delman said the latest Sudanese aerial bombardments which displaced more than 53 thousand people were crimes committed against the humanity in the Nuba Mountains.
Sudan government intensified attacks to end the insurgency in Nuba Mountains, Blue Nile and Darfur regions.
