Central Equatoria State Education Minister said they are conducting literacy training for 200 teachers on practical professional skills in Yei River County.
Hastin Yokwe Anisio told participants at the opening session that the training intends to improve literacy and practical skills in vocational curriculum for rural and urban schools in the country, Easter Radio reported.
The two-week training was organised by United Nations Educational Scientific and Cultural Organisation or UNESCO and United States Government.
The 200 participants were drawn from the three Equatoria States, Lakes, Jonglei and Western Bahr El Ghazal States.
