The inter-secondary school football sports competition started on Tuesday in Yei River County of Central Equatorial State.
Secondary School Inspector Emmanuel Sebit Peter during the opening of the tournament, said the competition was to bring together students from different secondary schools in the county, Easter Radio reported.
He expected the competition to end peacefully, warning that police would deal with students instigating conflict.
Yei River County Deputy Education Director Amos Alexandria urged the students to maintain maximum discipline.
The four-day tournament which started on Tuesday is expected to conclude on Friday.
