A 25-year-old man raped a six-year-old girl in Ngapangok Payam of Tonj North in Warrap State.
The father of the girl Makom Mayen explained that the man known as Mager Majok raped his daughter when she was looking after goats in the bush, left her half died and ran away, Don Bosco Radio reported.
He added that women who went to collect firewood found her in the bush unconscious and brought her home.
Tonj Civil Hospital Health officer Marko Saidy Dichol said the girl cannot sit alone because she was badly hurt and her stomach swollen.
The rapist was arrested and put in police custody.
