State administrators and directors received training on inspection skills for effective administration and service deliverance to the public in South Sudan.

Officials from Aweil, Yambio, Bor, Torit and Bentiu Labour offices did a 10-day training session in Juba that concluded yesterday.

Hellen Achiro, Director General of GoSS Ministry of Labour, Public Service and Human Resource Development, told journalists yesterday at the end of the formation that provision of equipment without capacity building was a waste of resources.

She added that inspection was the centre of labour administration.

Ms. Achiro said issues of occupational health, safety, and noise could only be corrected through inspection.

The training was organized by the Ministry of Labour in conjunction with the International Labour Organization with money from the Multi Donors Trust Funds to improve the provision of public services at state level.
