Yei River County Local Authority on Monday found a 29-year-old man dead along the Yei Medical Centre and Chief inspector’s home road.
Yei Police Gender Desk Crime Investigator Tereka Fabio Ramijo said the deceased identified as Isaac Ayume John complained of stomach complications on Sunday and died at about 6:00 AM Monday on his way to hospital, Easter Radio reported.
He added that no clear cause of the death was established according to medical reports.
The Crime Investigator suspected excessive alcoholic drinking and poor feeding habit as the cause of death.
Mr Tereka urged citizens especially brokers to desist from excessive drinking.
He warned that drug abuses including marijuana, opium and marungi endanger human health to death.
The body of the deceased was taken to Yei Civil Hospital for post-mortem.
