Central Equatoria State Assembly Member representing Nyepo Constituency in Kajo-Keji County said citizens are tired of listening to government’s empty promises about Limbe-Kajo-Keji road construction.

Dabe Francis Elisama told CRN on Friday that it is the prerogative of the state government to construct Limbe-Kajo-Keji road.

He stressed that residents around the area are farmers who need good road for their produce to reach markets to address food insecurity problem in the country.

Mr Francis explained that from Lainya County headquarters to Limbe Payam is around 20 miles and Kajo-Keji to Lainya is twice that, wondering how ambulance  could rescue patients in Wuji Payam of the same County.

He said when President Salva Kiir visited Kajo-Keji the road was rehabilitated, wondering whether it would also wait for another visit.

Mr Francis urged the government to recognize that people traveling along the roads are human beings who need services.
