Yei Catholic Bishop on Sunday urged Christians at Christ the King Cathedral to renew their faith every day to resist temptations.
Bishop Erkulano Lodu Tombe said Christians need to renew devotion continue alive like a candle’s light, Easter Radio reported.
He said many earthly things rob Catholic Christians faith and that many poor ones abandoned their faith because of riches.
Bishop Lodu advised the Catholics to be carefully of those claiming to be preaching new gospel.
The Catholic prelate said there was no new Gospel apart from that of Matthew, Mark Luke and John.
He noted that some Catholics left their faith in favour of richness and other earthly things.
The bishop said the earthly things have their end, but faith lives forever.
