Archbishop of Juba urged Parish Priests to keep Sacramental records of 2014 because they are needed in Rome, Italy.

Paulino Lukudu Loro said by May every year Rome authority needs records of baptism of children between 0-1, 1-7 and 7-100 years old, Bakhita Radio reported.

The Catholic prelate called on parish priests to keep the records of 2014 because that of 2013 was already contemplated.

He said the Archdiocese will collect records of the Sacrament of Confirmation for this year, saying the first Holy Communion records were contemplated.

The Archbishop said Rome also wanted to know records of marriages between the Catholic faithful or a Catholic marrying non-Catholic or verse visa.

Archbishop Lukudu urged priests and the faithful of Juba to work together for the unity of the Catholic Church.

The Catholic Archdiocese of Juba will on June 1 have 14 parishes.
