The 19th Pastoral Council of the Catholic Archdiocese of Juba on Monday stated under the theme: ”the role of the Archdiocese of Juba in fostering holistic human development”.

Archbishop Paolino Lukudu Loro called on participants to study, evaluate and weight matters that concern the Archdiocese and come up with possible solutions, Bakhita Radio reported.

He said the pastoral council members need to compile their reports to enable the Archdiocese evaluate its activities after five years without assessment.

Archbishop Lukudu urged the members to talk, think and evaluate some mechanisms to be put in place for a way forward.

The Catholic Prelate said the 130 Archdiocesan Pastoral Council members from difference parishes would be responsible to identify and resolve Archdiocesan problems for one year.

He said representatives from each parish would be called to discuss and find possible solutions should any problem arise in the Archdiocese.
