Central Equatoria Information and Broadcasting minister urged citizens to reduce hunger through embarking on agriculture because the war affected its first season.

Suba Samuel advised citizens to catch up with the second season of agriculture to realize enough food and fight hunger in payams, counties and the country at large, Easter Radio reported.

Morobo County Commissioner Moses Simon Soro appealed to citizens to cooperate to liberate the nation from hunger through farming.

He said agriculture is the backbone of the country’s economy that would generate income to citizens.

The officials made the remarks in a telephone interview to Easter Radio on Friday.
