National legislator presents 60,000 Pounds CDF balance

A National Assembly Member on Thursday presented the balance of 2010 County Development Fund or CDF to contractors in Nzara County, Western Equatoria.
 
Bernardo Kpasira handed 60 thousand South Sudanese Pounds to the CDF Committee to be paid to two local contractors who built Yabongo Primary School and bridges on Mbamu and Poru rivers in Nzara County, Anisa Radio reported.
 
He presented the money in the presence of CDF Committee members, County Commissioner, local contractors and the Council.
 
MP Kpasira thanked very much local constructors: Edward Box Issani and Peter Adriano because they did not sue him to court over money delay after finishing their work successfully.
 
Nzara County Commissioner Elia Richard Box congratulated MP Kpasira for being just, transparent and good example while dealing with public funds.
 
He also appreciated the two local contractors for their patience and patriotism, their Christian faith and work well done.
 
Mr Box recommended the use of local contractors for any developmental projects.
 
Local Contractor Edward Box was grateful to receive his balance, declaring that he thought going to court would jeopardize services at the county headquarters.
