Tonj South County Commissioner in Warrap State on Wednesday said they are ready to celebrate SPLA Day on Friday.
William Wol Mayom urged the entire community and all organized forces of Greater Tonj to prepare for the celebration of SPLA birth day, Don Bosco Radio reported.
The Commissioner said the ceremony is expected to take place at SPLM compound, calling on people to celebrate in peace and unity.
Mr Wol ordered all organized forces and armed citizens to refrain from shooting guns during the celebration.
He advised people to stay in their homes starting from 6:00 PM.
Mr Wol also advised the entire community and organized forces to clean the town for the celebration.
Tonj South Police Commissioner said they organized 60 police to patrol areas in town.
He urged the entire community to take care of their children during the celebration.
