Lainya Payam of Central Equatoria Court on Monday ruled out a legal verdict for a man to divorce his wife after she got married to four different men.
Payam Paramount Chief George Elia Kundu told Easter Radio in a telephone interview on Tuesday that the court recommended the man to divorce his unfaithful wife because he presented enough evidence.
He added that the husband agreed to share the responsibility of their three children with his divorced wife.
Mr Elia said the case was first reported and tried in Yei before its referral to Lainya Payam Court.
He said it was referred to the Payam Court because it was to do with customary laws.
The Chief added that it was the first of its kind to witness such report in the Payam Court.
