Yei Catholic Bishop visited St Peter Parish in Mundri of Western Equatoria after three years of silence in search of priests to take care of children of God.
Upon his arrival from his pastoral visit, Bishop Erkulano Lodu Tombe told Easter Radio that he was receiving many complains from Mundri parishioners about his visit.
He said the three-year silence for St Peter Parish was to search for permanent priests to take care of the parish than occasional visits.
The bishop said Mundri parishioners got four priests after three years thorough search.
He revealed full government’s and parishioners’ support to the priests, noting progress after the church so far attained a plot and demarcation documents.
Bishop Lodu lamented that few local priests in the diocese prompted him to look for missionaries to deliver services to parishioners.
