Sudan agrees to assist South Sudan in health sector

National Health Minister said Sudan agreed to assist South Sudan in medical sector focusing on training doctors, patients’ referral cases and medical supplies.
 
Dr Riak Gai Kok told journalists on Monday that the assistance on medical activities in the ministry was because of few medical experts, Bakhita Radio reported.
 
He revealed that the agreement was valid for five years with renewal possibility.
 
The Minister called on medical personnel in the country to apply for the training in the Sudan Medical Specialization Board.
 
Dr Riak called on those ready for the training to prepare for entry exams on June 19 in Khartoum and December in Juba.
