Western Bahr El-Ghazal State Health Minister decried high female genital mutilation rate in Raja and Wau Counties, vowing to address the issue.
Dr. Isaac Cleto Hassan said female genital mutilation otherwise known as female circumcision is a form of violence against women by women.
He urged health partners to help address increasing problem of female mutilation among adolescents.
