Evangelical Presbyterian Church Bishop in South Sudan spelt out the country needs to develop a road map for peace and development through economic empowerment.

Bishop Elias Taban told Easter Radio that empowerment of local communities through biblical transformation and engagement of youths in income generating activities that keep them busy and productive would make a more constructive nation than a destructive one.

Yei River County Commissioner Juma David Augustine agrees with Bishop Taban, saying the desire for human transformation requires a divine approach in South Sudan.

He added that the search for peace in the country would only be successful if leaders apply divine guidance approach so that human wisdom is directed by God’s supremacy.

The commissioner hailed Bishop Elias Taban for being a source of peace inspiration to Yei residents, saying would put joint efforts to realize peace and stability in the country.
