Yei Catholic Diocese Priests on Sunday urged Christians to value and stick to the word of God because it offers direction and consolation.
Fr Philip Andruga said without the word of God, human life would be hopeless and suffer many worries of doom, Easter Radio reported.
He added that God’s word consoles, strengthens and guides people in times of downcast and troubles.
Fr. Andruga said the bible contains all directions, guidance and orientation in times of joy and sorrows.
Fr Emmanuel Lodongo Sebit called on Christians to read the bible, urging those without one to acquire to deepen their faith.
He urged Christians to respect and value the Holy Eucharist as instructed by Jesus Christ.
