Government spokesperson admitted that SPLM/A in Opposition took full control of Leer and Mayom Counties in Unity State, blaming traitorous tricks of some SPLA members who are proving unreliable.
Michael Makuei Lueth told journalists in Juba that government forces would recapture the towns from opposition forces within 24 hours from Wednesday morning.
He said government would be very careful in admitting defectors from opposition who defect any time from the army to rejoin the anti-government forces.
The spokesperson vowed that government would pursue the forces to the last point.
Mr Makuei made the statement at the National Ministry of Information and Broadcasting on Wednesday.
