Kajo-Keji Diocese of Episcopal Church of South Sudan and Sudan Bishop urged leaders in charge of national affairs to think of peace in their mind to realize peace.
Bishop Anthony Poggo Dangasuk told CRN on Monday in a telephone interview that leaders of all levels have pivotal responsibilities to contribute for peace by words and actions which generate peace.
He appealed to leaders to achieve power by peaceful means rather than violence.
Bishop Poggo observes that everybody has a role to play to bring peace in the country.
Bishop Poggo appealed to citizens never to lose hope for peaceful nation, urging them to continue to be peacemakers by all means within their capacities.
The bishop encouraged masses to continue tirelessly praying for comprehensive peace accord in the next round of talks in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
He pointed out the need for access to humanitarian assistance for the displaced within and outside the country.
In his Easter Message to the nation, Bishop Poggo urged South Sudan leaders to be shepherds of God’s people.
