Auxiliary Catholic Bishop of the Archdiocese of Juba on Thursday observed that South Sudan bleeds in war due to no love of God in the hearts of the people, calling on priests, Christians and families to embrace God’s love.
Bishop Santo Loku Pio appealed to all Christians to renew their faith in God, Good News Radio reported.
He asked Rumbek congregation to take Christ’s suffering as a moment of grace, prayer and acceptance of Christ in their lives.
Bishop Loku called on all believers to restore Charity on everybody as Christ gave up his life for their sins.
The bishop made the statement on Holy Thursday evening mass received by priests, sisters and other faithful in the Catholic Diocese of Rumbek.
