The SPLM accused The Sudan Peoples’ Liberation Movement for Democratic Change (SPLM-DC) of being a terrorist party.
The charge was laid by Ezekile Lol Gatkuoth, a member of the SPLM national Liberation council.Mr. Gatkouth’s comments came after he visited Malakal where some SPLM-DC members were accused of killing seven SPLM members.
He revealed the incidents during a press briefing this afternoon in Juba where he claimed to have evidence of the SPLM- DC’s involvement in the killings.
Mr. Gatkouth described the killing as inhumane and alien to the south Sudanese culture.
He noted that the SPLM-DC will be treated as a terrorist party since it is involved in violent activities.
Mr. Gatkouth said SPLM is concerned about the families of the deceased.
He mentioned that a compensation plan will be prepared by top SPLM officials to assist those families.
