Warrap State Members of Parliaments urged Greater Tonj communities to embrace peace and reconciliation in Counties, Payams, Bomas and the whole country.
MP Peter Marial told Don Bosco Radio that they were still proclaiming the words of peace and reconciliation to people in payams and Bomas to stop inter-tribal conflicts.
He urged the entire community to be peaceful affirming them that the mid December crisis in Juba was political.
The MP said the President of the Republic sent them to the county as messengers of peace to the people.
MP Ayak Ngor urged the people of Warrap state to avoid tribalism by saying these are Dinka or Nuer because they are brothers and sisters adding that the alleged failed coup by former Vice President Riek Machar was not tribal.
She advised people to forget the past events and work for peace and reconciliation to develop the country.
He advised people to stay in peace and stop inter-tribal conflicts, raiding cattle, impregnating girls and many others.
Tonj South County Commissioner William Wol Mayom appreciated the committees of legislators’ sent by President Kiir in an effort to build strong peace in the country.
