National Education Deputy Minister declared that Loreto Girls’ Secondary School in Lakes State became the first of the top five Secondary Schools in 2013 South Sudan National Exams scoring 78.3 percent.
Bol Makueng announced that St Bakhita Girls’ Secondary School in eastern Equatoria occupied the second place scoring 75.6 percent followed by Magwi in Eastern Equatoria that scored 73.1 percent.
The Deputy Minister said Comboni Comprehensive College in Central Equatoria took the fourth position getting 67.1 percent and Marialbai Secondary School in Northern Bahr El Ghazal took the fifth position with 65.4 percent.
Mr Makueng declared that China Mayol Kuot of Hope Resurrection Secondary School became the first of the ten best candidates scoring 11.8 representing grade A.
The Deputy Minister said Monoja Kennedy Dima of Comboni Comprehensive College took the second position after scoring 11.6 representing grade A.
He explained that Animam Madeline Natale of Eyira Adventist Vocational College, Ogwak O John Masimo of Lobbone Secondary School and Thonding Ayiei Nyok of St Bakhita Secondary school all three scored 11.1 representing grade A.
Mr Makueng advised teachers and parents to put more emphasis on education to improve the performance students.
The Deputy Minister advised schools and candidates to adhere to rules and regulations of exams and refrain from malpractices.
