Yei Catholic Diocesan Education Coordinator said the national Education ministry was not aware of candidates sitting for Ugandan National Exams in South Sudan.
Fr Alex Lodiong Sakor said Secondary School Exams Secretary told him that states and counties should report to the ministry that there are students sitting for Ugandan exams so that it renews the memorandum of understanding, Easter Radio reported.
He revealed that the national ministry did not receive information that there are South Sudanese candidates sitting for Ugandan curriculum.
Fr Lodiong added that the ministry did not renew the memorandum because they did not receive report from the states and counties of foreign exams.
The Coordinator expressed students and teachers’ readiness for exams despite challenges on the ground.
