Lakes butchers say insecurity to ruin their business

Lakes butchers expressed concerns over growing insecurity in the town, saying it would terribly ruin their work.
 
The complaint came after raiders attacked the slaughter house on Friday, injuring the guard and disappeared with18 cows to be slaughtered for Saturday.
 
Butchers’ Association Deputy Chairperson Chirong Acuoth told Good News Radio on Monday that the raiders dispersed them into the bush and took all their cows.
 
He described the situation as one of the worse incident they had, calling on Rumbek police to help follow the criminals.
 
Last week there were reports of cattle raiding in Rumbek town.
