46 members of Sacred Heart Congregation from St Mary Catholic Parish Yambio on Friday volunteered to clean Anisa Radio compound ahead of launching of the new site at Ikpiro.
Team leader, Rita Severino Morris said the initiative was part of the exercise of their faith during the Lent season to help the Catholic Church Radio prepare its launch in a clean environment, Anisa Radio reported.
An exited member from Ikpiro St Paul Chapel; Rachael Venansio said she was much happy to participate in the general cleaning voluntarily.
She thanked Bishop Edwardo Hiiboro for installing Anisa Radio in Ikpiro village.
All members recognized the Radio as an important tool that touches many communities through news, discussions, advice and spiritual teachings.
Anisa Radio plans for an official launching of its new and permanent site at Ikpiro, Northeast of Yambio town next Saturday.
