Eastern Equatoria State Assembly Finance Committee chairperson on Monday came under scrutiny for working alone without his members.
Charles Udwar raised a concern after complaints from the state Assembly Acting Speaker, Paul Napwon over failure of the committee to meet its obligation, Emmanuel Radio reported.
He accused Chairperson Dominic Otwari of not inviting other members for a meeting on the state budget.
MP Dominic Otwar said members of the committee failed to respond to an invitation through the office of the speaker.
MP Peter Lokuju who is a member of the committee pointed out that the chairperson was moving with documents and did not invite members to sit together.
PM Tobias Lotto accused Finance Committee chairperson of being unwilling to work with his members, questioning the quality of single handed work.
The MP suggested an end to work monopoly and encouraged involvement of other members of the committee.
The acting speaker expressed surprise that members of the committee criticized a report they were expected to contribute to.
Eastern Equatoria Assembly is expected to have third deliberation, on the fiscal year budget on Wednesday.
The MPs on Wednesday called on the Finance minister to present expenditure report of the last nine months before passing of the budget.
