Pope’s representative on Peace and Justice will arrive in Juba on Tuesday in a week long visit to South Sudan.
The Catholic Archbishop of Juba Paolino Lukudu Loro announced that Cardinal Tukson Peter Kwadwo Appiah is expected to touch down at Juba International Airport at one o’clock PM.
He added that the Apostolic Nuncio to South Sudan Archbishop Charles Daniel Balvo will also arrived in Juba on Tuesday.
Archbishop Lukudu called on the faithful to turn up for the reception of Cardinal Kwadwo at St Joseph’s Parish.
He explained that the Cardinal will on Wednesday preside over the Eucharistic celebration for the dedication of new St Joseph Parish Church.
Archbishop Lukudu said the Cardinal is expected to meet Catholic Church and Episcopal Church leaders.
Archbishop Lukudu said Cardinal Kwadwo is also expected to meet President Salva Kiir and the top government officials.
He said the Cardinal would take site visits before leaving for Rome.
