United Nations high level delegation from New York arrived in Juba on Tuesday to investigate the alleged issue of weapons intercepted in Rumbek, Lakes state.
United Nations Mission in South Sudan or UNMISS spokesperson Ariane Quinterr in a statement said the incident was regrettable and would not happen again.
This is a very regrettable mistake, but also this should not happen in view of the agreements that we have made with the government regarding the transportation of hazardous goods’, the spokesperson said.
