Tonj South County in Warrap State Education Director urged all head teachers to give monthly reports of teachers to the Education Office.
Mayom Lual Bak on Tuesday said the aimed of the report was to know which teacher worked and which did not, Don Bosco Radio reported.
The Director quoted the national Transitional Constitution that public servants including teachers work 21 days in a month.
He said if a teacher did not work for 21 days he or she would be asked to explain.
Mr Bak sympathized with some teachers who stay far from schools leading to delay in lessons.
The Director urged head teachers to enlighten parents, guardians and chiefs to send their children to school.
